On my MK2 it was via the multi-function display.
I didn't trust it the first few times - I tested with a wet sponge before feeling totally comfortable with the technology.
I was expecting the Auto Rain closing function to work as this function on my previous Yeti TDI works brilliantly, then I ended up with a wet interior.
Would anyone know how to activate this function on our car? Thanks.

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
I haven't been able to get it to work on a number of the newer platform cars.
All of the right boxes are ticked in VCDS, but it doesn't work. Seems like there is either another part of the puzzle on newer BCM-based cars or the feature has been disabled...

Should be available. It is on my RS, though i don't think it works
Works on my MKII, I once ran back to the car as the sunroof was tilted and it was all closed with just a few drops before I even got to it. Was in the MFD options but could well be they removed it in the MkIII.
Think works on my sunroof but haven't checked for sure.
maybe u need to leave the wiper stalk in the 'auto' position.
would be a shame to hear the mk3 doesn't have this handy feature!

^ I think you are onto something there, mine always was and I think it mentioned it in the manual. Nonetheless the ability to turn it on and off was in the MFD settings.
