    MK2 VRS Fuse Block Lay-out

Whilst checking the vehicle fuse lay-out of the MKII VRS to the owners manual I soon realise that the lay-out did not match with the manual. After searching the web I found the reason why the diagram on the panel did not match-up.

Skoda "no so clever" decided to penny pinch and did not:

    1. make an owners manual for the right hand drive vehicle (page 196 states the fuse panels on the left side of the dash panel).

    2. the fuse block for a right hand vehicle is reversed in the relocation from left to right.

    3. the label for the fuse lay-out located on the right dash panel is for a left hand drive vehicle.

I sent an email to Skoda (Aust) asking why the manual and the dash panel diagram do not correspond.... However, I doubt VAG/Skoda will print new labels just for Australian vehicles.

So I have mirror imaged the dash panel lay-out and renumbered the fuse locations the from left to right, and printed it out to put in my owners manual.

The colour reproduction of my mobile camera is out of whack (darker label) so I paint filled it to make black on white. Lost a bit of detail in the process of the paint fill but, you have a choice if you decide to print it out.

I would be interested to here from the MKIII owners if their fuse lay-out is correct or a mirror image of the left hand drive vehicle.

    Cheers Fred
