Leak in driver side footwell

Hey all, as title states found a leak in the driver side footwell. It was coming from up behind dashboard and into the footwell. It happened on xmas night when we had that huge downpour. Anyone else have anything similar if it rains heavily? Or am i grasping at straws and avoiding the inevitable

Do you have a sunroof? If yes, that's your issue. Blocked drain pipe, or disconnected. Comes down through the A pillar. We had a flooded footwell too. Fixed, free of charge, by Richmond Skoda during a service, out of warranty. My understanding is it's a known problem that should be routinely checked during a service.
