This might be helpful to you...
This was my experience earlier this year. Its painful, but worth the wait (We saved like scrooges until it turned up and put a very nice chunk on the lease)

Yep I have a HP, so the buck stops with me, rather than buying it back, it's ultimately my responsibility to sell that car. Also means I claim all the business use percentage of interest, depreciation, and all running costs etc. I think mine worked out about an 11k tax deduction, with a modest car allowance I end up having it paid for, and put $4k every year towards the next car.
SKODA vRS147; CanberravRS - any of you guys got any further info from the dealers yet with regards to shipping?
my vin # still shows up with 'no records found' on the ww logistics track & trace site.
I've heard it can take upto 3 weeks for a car to get a spot on the ship.
it will b 3 weeks this fri since my car was built
i've also heard it can take upto 2 weeks after the ship has sailed, before the vin # shows up on the track & trace.
2 ships left last week, bound for oz - 15th & 17th.
i've asked Colin today to see if he can give me a current status update.

That I would expect as normal Kiwi, it doesn't really pay to order during the summer vacation really, you end up waiting longer.
Mine was built week 34 though... so its been sitting around for nearly a month now, and i would assume it was booked on one of the two September ships as that would align with the planned delivery date. I was always assuming my car would arrive mid November as that was what was planned when i ordered it in April so that it would coincide with my current end of lease on the vRS.
