I was wondering whether it was testing to get the proper safety rating on them. They haven't done a test since the first release of the Octy II in 2004, it would be good if they can say for sure now that they are 5 star, instead of saying they would have been if they had the same airbags as now.

By the sound of things we could do with a lot more arriving when customers are waiting weeks.
If they want to make a real impact on the market they will need to satisfy the demand........

Unfortunately, its not BS. The Skoda factory shuts down which is the cause of a lot of lag and low stock. If you order close to June/July etc you have to wait until the end of summer for them to fulfil, so if you want an ordered car, you want to get it in now until about Feb otherwise you will wait until Sept/Oct next year.

Last year was quieter due to the GFC, and they cut back production, so hopefully they are ramping it up again. It's also the reason why they got a few wagon superbs to take orders with, but noone really can get them until this month.

I think it's an historical thing that Skoda does, wish my company gave me summer off...
