Since I updated my iPhone (3G model) to OS4 it seems that the phone book is no longer automatically transferred to the Fiscon when the two items connect.
The pre programmed speed numbers on the Bolero screen work okay, I can dial numbers using the on screen keyboard and if I initiate a call on the phone it transfers to the Fiscon okay. When I push the phone book icon on the Bolero screen I just get a message "no phone book available".
If a call comes in the screen tells me who is ringing (assuming they are in the phone book) so there is obviously communication between the Fiscon and the phone.
The only way I can get the phone book to transfer is to unpair the Fiscon and the phone and then re pair them but that's a pain each time you get in the car.
Has anybody else had this issue with OS4?
Does anybody know if Fiscon firmware updates are available in Australia? I looked at the Kruftec web site but it indicates that units must be returned to Germany for firmware updates.
Some people are reporting similar problem HERE.
I believe you can roll back your iPhone to version 3.1.3 by following THIS guide if all else fails.
My iPhone works fine with iOS4 and the 729D model bluetooth.
