I'm an under 25 p-plater, so it would be around $4k/yr to insure me for the vRS... But with my mother's no claim bonus and policy benefits its down to around $1,200! Couldn't ask for better than that.
Would be around $400/yr if I were over 25...

There seems to be a huge difference in prices, AAMI charged me additional $120 for the exhaust. Current paying $880 per year for a rating 1 for life driver.

rates are different due to age, location, where you park and how often you use your car. also, I think a lot of the big names pull figures out of their rear ends, or take a stab at a wall chart to get premium prices
I've been with CGU for a few years and did some comparo's when I got the Yeti. It was still the cheapest for me and they offered new car replacement for 3 yrs.
