I like to think I'm not one of them!...
If I can pass the MR course in one go, after four hours clocked in an automatic truck with air brakes, I reckon I'm doin' pretty well!

Its the Red P's in mummy's Mercedes C-class, or the old blokes in the beat up 80-Series towing a shiny new caravan that get me worried.
Even the fact that I can drive my car - vRS TDI worries me a little. Sure, I'm 100% confident in my abilities, however... What if instead of me, its some kid with no idea who's choosing to be ignorant of how turbo lag effects drivability? You know, the kind with the binary foot. (Its either on or its off)
2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.
    1990 Mk1 Cabrio. 1.9 IDI w/ 18PSI.
    1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.
    Not including hers...

The most dangerous drivers are the complacent ones regardless of age (and I've been one of them before I got lucky). Many have never had to make so much as an emergency stop/swerve so have any idea how quickly it can and easily go wrong or how to react when it does.

I agree...that is why we should all do compulsory driver training and refresher courses on skid pans throughout our driving lives....

Saw my very first red Octavia RS wagon on the road today (friendly guy, actually gave me a wave when he pulled up alongside at the lights - not many other Skoda drivers bother!). The only other red Octy I've seen was the liftback in Trivett's yard when I picked mine up a year and a half ago. Race blue is the colour I see most of, then pretty much similar numbers of silver, white, black and anthracite (like mine), not seen any yellows yet (apart from the pre-FL sir_camel was lusting after in Alto's yard!).

Whoa - this thread is way off topic

I see a lot of red P Platers sppeding, following too close and cutting through marginal gaps
Typical lack of experience and imagination as to what could go wrong on the assumption that it won't
(Not all P Platers are bad - it's just that the bad ones stick out like a sore thumb)

I also get frustrated with SUV's tailgating me on the motorway - very common
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels

Saw a Yellow one driving down the Pacific Hwy in Lindfield the other day. First Yellow wagon I've seen since 'the one that got away' and I really liked the look of it. Hard to blend in in one of those though. So much Yellow.

Not sure I've ever seen a black one but it's probably more that they blend in a little bit more.
