    Here is a quick snap...

So what do you all reckon?

I gotta say, it was not as easy as I thought it would be to install it!!! It took a fair bit of fiddling to get it in!
And...I ruined the new badge trying to get it correctly lined up, so I have had to ditch it and wait for a new one to arrive...so it is running naked for a while now.....

Yep, it is just the insert that comes from superskoda, and replacing the insert is the hard part!
If it was just replacing the whole grille, it would only take 5 mins, but separating and changing the insert is fiddly!

I like the chrome personally on mine, but I guess it could be blacked out, or carbon fibre wrapped on yours??
Just do the wrapping while the parts are separated, then insert the new honeycomb mesh after....

That looks really good! a little less "frumpy" than the standard grille (which I still like).
Are you happy with it, now you've seen it fitted?

I've trusted superskoda and ordered some interior shiny trims (around headlight switch etc), and also another underseat storage compartment to fit under the drivers seat which is blanked on mine. They are handy things if you can remember they're there!

    I think it looks great!!

I *hate* chrome... But alas it can't be helped that the chrome looks good on Tigger's.
    Goes with the wheels, etc.

    Nice numberplate.

I just realised - the VRS badge is missing - can't take it off the old grill?

well...long story...I bought a new one, as the old one cant be taken off the original grille.
the new one attaches with bolts and nuts.
these came apart while trying to fit them...then I kinda broke the nut part...then I kinda superglued my fingers to the new badge, thus making my hand a special edition RS hand...(owww)
while trying to remove said badge, i ripped off a nice chunk of what I will call 'finger-skin'...(double ouch.....)

    so that badge got ruined...

no worries...new one on the way ...should be here within a short time.

    ah...fun and games...
