    Hello All RS owners!

As some of you may know, I have just sold my Tiguan (see tiguan post), and purchased my new RS wagon.

    I love this car!!!!!

So I just wanted to say Hi and thanks for your posts in the past and ones to come. I find it very helpful to know that there is a community of car enthusiasts out there to support one another.

I guess we all cross paths throughout the forum anyway, whether it be VW or Skoda etc....
    Chat soon.

I guess I had better update my signature and avatar pics now hey??

Welcome to the RS club Tigger, very happy to have you here! Shame to see the Tiguan go, I really did like yours, but I'm sure you're going to love your RS (just like the rest of us do)! Any planned mods?

    Hi Guys!

Yep, sad to see the Tig go....(ahh...2mins silence pls....) No, really it has gone to a great family in the nth shore, so I guess we may still see it arouns sydney from time to time...it truely was a unique look with the GTI style...oh well...no time for sentimentality...

    OK, so the new one...

    I got:
    147 DSG
Platin metallic grey (one of the new colours)
New Red interior stitching. Looks amazing, and was the final clincher to be siging up!!!
    MDI
    Sunroof
    Tint
    front & rear sensors
    Nav etc... (standard I think?)

    Very happy with it!!!

Must work out a pic for the signature this week.....

I was looking at the first Tiguans as they came out right when Skoda appeared but went the RS hatch in my decisions (especially as Skoda were discounting hard and VW weren't at all on the Tigs!). I haven't regretted that choice ever.

What sort of price were you able to negotiate as were looking to sell our mk6 GTI and get the rs dsg wagon but I'm curious on how heavy their discounting is.

Het Tigger - congrats on the new car. As clarified by "team-v" you have the E888 engine which is the same as the Mk6 GTI's. My brother who just bought a vRS as well (same colour as yours) is most likely getting a Kraftwerk tune from RamSpeed in Sydney. Here are their tune specs: GERMAN Performance upgrades for European automobiles

Because the tune requires the ECU to be unlocked, you will get charged a "installation fee" ontop of the cost of the tune. In the case of the Kraftwerk tune, the tune is $1200 plus $200 for the install.
