Group buy - Rearguards from UK

So GTR27 and I have been discussing purchasing our rearguards direct from the UK.

I contacted the UK company and asked for a postage quote for 5 rearguards. Postage would be 98 GBP to Sydney.

Is anyone else keen to join us? We only need 3 others and we can discuss the best place for postage/collection methods via PM or email. Postage maybe cheaper if there are more buyers (would have to check with the UK if there is more interest, etc).

For those with a non-rs octavia wagon, the part number is RBP610 (IIRC it doesnt show on the site). I got delivered a vRS rearguard from the numb nuts in the US, who refused to answer any questions/emails/messages, hence the attempt to buy a second one (this time from the source, so no stuff ups!).

I'm sure others have talked about rearguards before (best rear bumper protection for load lip) - now is your chance to get one for reasonable shipping from the UK!

While I am in Perth, I am happy to pay for postage charges from Sydney to Perth as I expect it would work out cheaper than paying postage from UK to Perth for one. I quite like the idea of the Stainless Steel rearguard for my soon to be built RS wagon. Of course, if there is enough interest from Octavia owners in Perth I might be able to organise our own group by for us in the West.

I assume that is 98 between 5 people. If so I am interested as long as its not too much to get it shipped to the ACT.

Opie, we may have shipping direct to cbr as there are two of us, or ill bring it down from syd. Either way, you won't be up for extra postage

I'm also keen on this as interested in getting the Stainless Steel rearguard. I'm based in Melbourne though - is there anyone else down here that is looking at going ahead with this order to keep shipping costs down?

I got the faux carbon fibre one. Looks pretty good and is a very close match to the RS carbon trim inside. Worth considering. Seems to mask scratches well also.
