    Engine Warning Light

    Hey Everyone,

I currently have a 2010 Skoda Octavia RS Liftback DSG 147TSI.

I had my engine warning light appear last month. And it was hooked up and diagnosed as a broken inlet manifold. This has since been replaced. However the light can be decoded away but comes back on within a few minutes of driving. Does anyone else know what could cause this?

I've had Skoda and VW mechanics look at it. And they all say that there is nothing wrong with the car and they don't understand why the light keeps coming back.

It will be greatly appreciated if anyone can help. Once the problem is solved it will be up for sale.

Fuel pressure fault most likely? We really need the fault codes in order to help you out mate, P.S: If your engine light is on, it's not okay, something is wrong, the VW tech should know this..

Get it in writing that they will accept responsibility and costs if something were to go wrong in the near future.

Which is what he said was replaced in the beginning so obviously something else is up around there.

Hey guys. I rang my Skoda Service department and they said that they have another solution to remove the light.

If it does happen to be the sensor. Would you know what it would cost??
