    Yep. that's what they are using. It's not like the old SUbaru UCS stuff. This foams.

    We will be trying to work out what to remove so I can foam it up every 15,000km.

    the new foam stuff works wonders!

    take off as much as you can. if youre removing manifolds, best to just clean it while its off.

    I guess so - they were cleaning something on a diesel that required manifold off. I was in a bit of a hurry doing Mr Mum stuff & didn't look beyond my own car.

    I think it would be better / cheaper if you set up either water/meth injection or started doing chemical cleaning every 7500km

    Theres a inlet temp sensor at the front of the inlet manifold which is what i use when doing carbon cleans. 1x screw and its out.

    yes wp failures are well known. I am on my 3rd water pump, 1st one at 15k kms and 2nd one at 45k kms,.....

    Just did a quick search on eBay. There's a seller in there that has the water pump pulley/impeller for $80 delivered to AUS.

    part number FWP2224. I bought the whole housing, impeller & a pipe which was ~$750ish. I'll get the straight edge onto my old housing & see if it's re-usable.
