    DSG6 or DSG7?

they appear to act quite differently.

Guy was saying this logic is inside the ECU (not the DSG)
Although it's entirely plausible that the ECU has different logic depending on the DSG unit

That's with the 7 in the transporter.

I'll try the different sequence that was mentioned.

The CC can do the same though.
It's happened to my boss a few times. And that's the diesel with the 6.

ok I can use the throttle and brake at the same time. DSG6. it tries to take off, but obviously cant due to the brakes being on.

turning off traction control turns the above move into launch control

    I haven't tried either - no idea
Both of these happen in my TDI M6.
Also behaved exactly the same in my Kia Sorento...

Which begs the question, why did that woman in the US claim the accell was stuck on whilst doing like 200km/h down the highway?! Heh.

What kind of car was she driving?
My Suzuki XL7 had the accelerator stick on the freeway at 110.
The apprentice that had fitted the cruise control allowed the new cable to obstruct the throttle cable, so at freeway speed the throttle body remained jammed 2/3 open.
I'm glad it was me driving and not my wife.
Lots of noise popping it in neutral and stopping the car as the engine tried to rev it's rings off before I could shut it off safely.
