You live in Brisbane, how cold can it get in winter??
If you not careful I will start my Monty Python type "When I was a boy" cold weather stories, except no one would believe me.

Well, because I'm used to higher temperatures, anything sub double digits is cold!.

There are also times that having the seat heaters on and ac going is nice also.

Yep sore lower back they are great. I'm curious whether people have found the RS seats to be contributing to sore backs. Since moving to an SUV and being 6'1 my back has been a lot happier even with less supportive seats. I'm wondering if getting back into a smaller/lower car might cause me grief again.

I had no problem with the Mk2 Ambition because it had lumbar support adjustment as standard but the Mk3 Ambition does not (Ambition + and higher does).
My first long drive in the Mk3 was the first time I had encountered back pain from driving for years and had to buy a cheap lumbar support, which works for me but is not ideal.
Initially I was shocked at the missing adjustment but have since found it is quite common on other makes even on quite high spec'd/priced models.

Car seating comfort is a very personal thing, a bit like bicycle saddles where I swear by Leather Brooks models but others swear at them.

    Haha. It's all relative

I must have a weird back, I find I put the lumbar support down to nothing. Having it adjusted feels like something sticking in my back. The seats are OK, but I'd love a set of rs seats in place.

Was it not an option when you ordered? I specified my Ambition with height/lumbar adjustable front seats. Well worth it, especially if you have a partner who likes sitting high. $200 option from memory.

It never occurred to me to be honest as I test drove an Ambition + model and I am 90% certain the salesman said it had lumbar adjustment on drivers seat on the Ambition but not the passenger.
I did not see the option in the paperwork, but if I had I certainly would have taken it at that price.
