Difference in Scout suspension parts over stock Octavia and will Golf mark7 bits fit

    Hi Guys
I know the scout has rear independent suspension as opposed to the beanm torsion bar axle etc but I am wondering if the springs, dampers, control arms (front end) are interchangeable. I figure spring height would be different but I am hoping Golf Mk7 (in particular the r version .. being awd) may well fit given its the mqb platform.
Does anyone have any experience with the mark 3 suspension upgrades yet?

Haven't looked but Scouts get their extra height partially from the springs (same spring as an AWD optioned Octavia) and partially from the larger diameter tyres (225/50r17 instead of 225/45r17).

All the other components are physically the same size - it's the "tuning" that is different. eg: rubber density & cutouts in the bushes; damper valving; spring rate, etc.

A few of the guys at Briskoda have changed dampers to give a better ride but there's been no science behind it - simply suck it & see.
