Yes you can, I got a slim line moulded set from Skoda and fitted them up very easily. I dont think I have scrapped them on anything yet ( sped hump, gutter etc), but if I was to slip in some lower springs then it might be a problem
My parents are on a farm, plus some of the dirt bike tracks i tow the bike into are mostly on gravel roads, so i fitted them up as a "prevention" idea. So far so good.
Would love to come down for the get together, but cant commit until maybe the week before. Work is fairly sparatic with trips away ( Defence)

Yeah you just need the splined tool/screw driver thats in with your spare wheel to take out a few of the under guard screws and simply fit the mud flaps up. I got them from Skoda, I think they cost about $80 for a full set.
Was a very simple fit up and they fitted very well.
Also just a heads up _ I wont be ablr to come on this drive unfortunately, I have a mates bucks party to go to on the Central Coast that weekend. You guys have fun though and take heaps of pics
We went for our recce drive on Saturday.
Our route down was: Moss Vale - Fitzroy Falls - Kangaroo Valley - Cambewarra Lookout - Gerroa - Gerringong (for a swim in the sea). The only issue I found was the road to the Cambewarra Lookout which was narrow and needed care when passing traffic in the opposite direction.
Our route back up was: Kiama - Robertson - Moss Vale.
We stopped in at the Southern Highlands Wines on the way back (after it closed) to just see what it was like. This looks like an ideal location to park a number of cars for photos - lots of open space, nice background of vines and their small lake.
The Gerroa Boat Fisherman's Club looks like a good spot for a feed (although we ended up eating in Kiama) and has a good car park.
Unfortunately, I didn't check the travel times as we basically stopped wherever we liked.
So, the question is...
Do we start at the winery with nibbles and photos and end up at Gerroa for a feed?
Or do we start on the coast and end at the winery and have a feed in their restaurant?

Either way! Ending up at the coast would make an easy drive home after the run, but that is just my preference.

So everyone, is this happening or not? It would sure give me something to smile about for the start of the school year!
Mine: Silver 2006 Volkswagen Golf Sportline 2.0FSI 6M (with a sunroof)
Parents': Candy White 2008 Skoda Octavia RS 2.0TFSI 6M Liftback
I'm not fussed where it finishes as long as we get to all meet and have a safe fun drive as a group.
I think a fair meeting point for most would be Moss Vale and personally i like aslsw's trip as i know the roads and think they would be enjoyed by everyone in the various models.
Lets make this happen guys/gals
