been looking at wrapping options for the grille and a few other bits, think I'll head to these guys after delivery and get:

    - grille & badge
    - headlight 'eyebrows'
    - roof rails
    - windscreen strip
    - door handles if possible

All to be done in black carbon, mmmmmm .. should complete the darth vader look well and truly : ))

this is an example of the eyebrows but I'd rather get them professionally installed, and in black carbon:

Hey Todd, those were the guys I've been trying to contact to get my roof, mirror covers and interior trim panels dinoc'd but so far no reply yet. But if they still do exist, then maybe we should get it done around the same time to see if we can get a special deal or something. What do ya think?

Absolutely, all the way. I emailed info@carbonfiberwrap.com.au and Damian from Grafico got back to me in less than an hour.

Great news. I'll see if I can contact them too and make an appt to visit them to ask them a few questions and get a quote so that way we can compare and see if they really do give us a deal.

good news and bad news today

bad news - dealer had been telling me porkies and car is not due until late October

good news - new plates arrived! (now if only I had a new Skoda to put them on ...)

Hmmm...why does it not surprise me that whenever a dealer goes quiet or not forthcoming on info that it usually means they are telling fibs or don't want to give the bad news?
However asides from the bad news...Wow plates look the goods mate especially the colour choice so perfect for your car. Congrats. Hang on a second, when did you order the plates? It seems like it was only the other day you asked me about what I thought of "RUNVAG"? That's a bloody quick turnaround. The Victorian penitentiary system must really be cracking the whips eh? LOL...

Oh by the way, I popped by to see the guys at ... and got quoted up for some carbon and matt vinyl work to be done. Also mentioned about you too but didn't seem like they were gonna budge with their pricing. Kinda the first time in about years that I've been to a place that quotes prices which surprises you with the huge expense and then puts salt in the wounds by saying the good old trade phrase "plus GST" They said they'll contact skoda about the possibility of removing the door trim strips and get back to me.
