I saw this beast in the flesh today - very nice! Have you done some exhaust work? It sure has a nice growl.
I was playing leapfrog with you along Middleborough Rd - white TSI wagon (which I bought yesterday).

haha, yeah I saw your TSI there .. sorry for not saying hi but I've kind of gotten used to a seemingly unsocial mob of skoda owners
couldn't believe how many I saw today just zipping around the blackburn south area though, definitely saw more octys and superbs than Golf GTI's - I was impressed!
congrats on the new purchase by the way! .. can't go wrong with Octy's for the money that's for sure. Oh and yeah I've had the full exhaust changed - it's part Eurojet (downpipe), mated to a Milltek cat-back. Mine sounded like nothing much at all as stock, but the Milltek non-resonated cat-back sure fixed that problem
hope you enjoy the wagon, and if you get sick of the stock exhaust note rest assured that changing the cat-back makes a big difference on both the RS and the TSI

I got mine from Dub Addiction here in Melb (so cheap compared to the APR equivalent) .. I think eurojet have quite a few resellers around the traps
as far as I know it wasn't too much drama to hook the DP up to the milltek catback, they just had to cut off a 50-60cm length of catback and Josh weaved some welding magic .. the hardware by itself was noticeable from the driver's seat, but once the software update went on it was very happy days
