hehe ; ) .. no idea what the car is .. tho I'm sure someone more familiar with jdm than I am will know. I still like the Oettingers a lot but think I prefer the mesh style a little more. They're a bit over $2k, but that's the fantastic thing about leasing - having extra goodies built into a lease from the start comes in handy! : D

thanks .. dealer hasn't given me the vin yet, but he 'claims' that it's still on the boat and only 2-6 weeks away .. once I get the vin of course I'll look her up on the tracking site

thanks dru .. yeah but thought I'd at least try to setup some kind of semi-structured plan so that each modification can (hopefully) be done while keeping the final stage in mind ie. stage 3 tune specs. I spose my aim is not to modify then have to upgrade previous mods in order to cope with other newer mods ... but I guess time will tell how that theory goes ; )

1k on detailing gear is a good effort!!

.. so I went and checked out ontherun motorsports this arvo and spoke to Ken? and he was extremely helpful .. said that they'll have to put in an order for the wheels and then wait for the batch to be made, and after that they'd get shipped over to Oz with the rest of their gear - I think they might be worth the wait?

here's my (fairly dodgy) attempt to photoshop a black RS wagon with the Homura's ..

I prefer a concave-type wheel .. these are sort of? concave I spose but still my fav's so far.

Dude, could be my eyes but there Convex rims, the opposite of Concave.

Not a fan personally, anything that protrudes from the wheel reminds me of a hubcaps

Plus your even more exposed to gutter rash!

yeah true, although the inner section is concave and the outer is convex ... regardless, having gathered my thoughts over many days I doubt that those wheels would really suit a wagon. Think I like the V710's in gunmetal much better having seen this Audi.

photoshop attempt .. (hope you don't mind me using your quality pics GTREA?!)

    VMR V710's @ 19 x 8.5, 5x112, bore 57.1, 45 offset (says it suits the A3 ... hmmm, same as Octy RS ???)

Yeah go the VMR's and if the black octy in the pictures above has an offset of 50, I think the extra 5mm will make it sit almost dead flush with the guards but I love your plan and I've been trying to convince my parents to get one of these but they don't like the idea of being on a lease
