Ping Benough via PM. He might be willing.
Hey guys,
I am in western Sydney near Blacktown and am wondering if there is anybody nearby or in Sydney who would be willing to help me activate some things in VCDS?
- Daytime Running lights
- cornering Fog lights
and i'm sure there are some others that would be helpful.
Payment is your Choice, either a case of Crown Lager or a pineapple note.
Any other things in VCDS that are popular or recommended?
Josh.

while i was coding bluetooth activation recently, i also coded the following:-
Cornering Foglights
"Foglight (turning side) activate on low speed turns"
Control Module > [09] Central elec / Coding / Long coding helper / byte14 / bit 5, tick the box.
DRL dim on indicator (not sure if this can b done on the non-vrs octavias)
"Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) inactive with Turn Signals active"
Control Module > [09] Central elec / Coding / Long coding helper / byte 15 / bit 3, tick the box.
Coming & Leaving Home Lights via foglights
"Uses the foglights instead of lowbeams when activated"
Control Module > [09] Central elec / Coding / Long coding helper / byte 17/ bit 3, tick the box.

Recently had my FL Octy tsi DRLs activated via VCDS, so there is now an option in the MFD to switch them on or off.
Not sure yet if I will leave them on.
