$600!!? Sound to good to be true + I would want a warranty/support.

I've spoken to German Auto about it - seem to have their act together. Have been servicing the car and their service is top rate.

May wait until it's out of warranty. Still thinking out it....

Have you considered Bluefin? I have had it since 40km on the odo and just ticked over to 1500km, so far love it. Just got back from a trip down the coast(sandy point) and economy was average 6.9l/100 on the way home. But the amount of torque is amazing, barely raises a sweat when overtaking most of the time still in 6th gear. Cost less the $600!

Yeah saw that. I was told not to worry just a disclaimer they have to warn people about. I will ask before serviceing if they plan to do a ecu reflash. Bluefin are suposed to inform of any new software as it comes available. fingers crossed

This is really just a though for clarification.

I assume that the handset thingy is linked to only one vehicle?
What would stop you plugging your handset into my car and uploading my info for a "boost" now that yours has been done?

Yep thats right. The first time it is used to download factory file onto the handset it renders it useless on another vehicle unless it is reset by superchips for a fee.
