I'd take it up with Skoda Aus mate. That is atrocious! Unfortunately you aren't the first and won't be the last
Just took my car in for service 4 days ago at a Skoda dealer. Had new tyres fitted yesterday.
When picking up my car from the tyre mob I noticed really bad gutter rash on my 2 passenger side rims. I absolutely pride myself on taking care of my car and know that there was absolutely no marks on the rims. It's a running joke with my wife that I park one foot from the curb. As you can imagine I was quite upset to notice this. It wasn't the tyre place as I drove it in and I drove it out.
That leaves me with the dealer. I phoned, and of course got the expected answer, "yes it was parked on the street after service, but we wouldn't do that."
So that leaves me stuffed. I'm so angry as I took such good care of the rims for almost 2 years, and now they're damaged.
So as the title of the thread reads, check your rims prior to service, and make sure you don't find yourself in the same predicament.

There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

I had a similar thing done at a MMA dealer. They damaged a mag wheel, did not deny it.
Said just said bring it back we will take another customers undamaged spare and replace it with yours ..... you trust them as far as you
can throw them.

Might be too late now, but try contacting your insurance company. Tell your side of the story, supply photos, and ask if they will file a claim for damages against the dealer's business insurance. It's your word against their's, but most insurance damages claims are, and most businesses will settle up rather than risk giving any reason to let an insurance company raise their premium.
That's really infuriating, and for me would be the end of that dealer. Can't stand it when service techs are rough with my property, and not admitting would be the absolute pits. When you get to it, Wheel Solutions in Richmond did a very nice job on one of my wheels and seem to generally get a good rap on various forums
Do you know roughly what they would charge to repair the wheels? So far a couple of suggestions were in the realm of $200 to $300 per rim. Brand new rims from Skoda I believe are $550 a piece.
The problem is exactly as stated previously, my word against their's. It's just a really awkward, frustrating & infuriating situation to find myself in.

My 15 inch alloy (pre-FL Ambiente) had gutter rash for about 20% of the rim, and the design does not have a lip so a little harder to sort than wheels that do. Cost $165 and you really couldn't tell it had been repaired. Heaven forbid I need them again but I'd go back for sure. Mainly Audi, Merc, BMW there when I was.
That would really upset me if this were to happen. I know it's a bit padentic but whenever I take my car to a service centre, I take some snap shots of the wheels to show the condition they were in before I left so if something happens I have some sort of proof that they did it.
It has worked in my favour before - a while ago when I owned a 180sx Type X I had taken it into a panel beater to get a few bits sprayed up and fitted, decided to go with a reputable panel beater in the area (and paid the price for it too!)....still, before I took it in I took a photo of each panel because the car was immaculate - not a scratch dint or mark. Got the work done, arrived to pick it up and looked around the car - on the drivers door was a nice big scratch. Probably 100mm long - they denied and denied it - pulled my camera out and showed them photos I had taken 30min before dropping it off...no scratch! Needless to say they ended up fixing it for free
