    Check Engine Light

Hi, just checking if anyone else has had this issue & / or suggestions.
2010 VRS wagon with 221k on the odo. Engine light scan is showing a lean fuel mixture by both my usual service place & local Skoda dealer. Dealer suggests it might be the low pressure fuel lift pump but we haven't yet checked it's electrical performance or pressure tested it in operation.
Since this first came up the following has been done trying to stop the warning coming back after being cleared each time. These items were actioned individually, the code cleared, then came back on each time after about ten k's driving.
Smoke test that revealed a couple of vacuum leaks in hoses that were replaced.
    Replaced the fuel filter.
    Relaced the O2 sensor.
Replaced one coil pack that went wonky in between the last two items.
The car drives generally ok but isn't keeping speed on cruise as accurately as usual when on an incline or down hill.
Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully accepted. Thanks Dan.

Have you got a scan tool? A cheap OBD one should do the job for this.

I recommend checking both the short-term and long-term fuel trims and observing the fuel pressure readings while you're a passenger during a drive.

And what are the actual fault codes if you have them?

Typically, in a closed-loop mode, the vehicle will assess its O2 sensors and modify the injector pulse width to either increase or decrease fueling to match the fueling table in the ECU"
