Can I get all your thoughts on these wheels please?

    Hey all,

As I value the opinions of fellow "classy" RS owners...
What are your thoughts of these wheels for fitment to my Platin Grey Wagon?

    AUVW 18x8.0 FI-R - GM
    AUVW 18x8.0 R8-V2

    Cheers...

I searched and found them both - they are both very smart indeed

The FI-R - GM are a copy of the BMW wheel - purhaps to hot and open for the Octavia?

The R8-V2 are more cool than the Audi NS4

(I feel the list prices are out of bounds)

(I assume you are after ET45)

I presume you are chasing 5x112?

have a look here for some great quality rims. I purchased my last ones here and the rims are great, prices and service is great too

    VAG 5x112, BM Autosport Ltd

Knock 20% off his list price as they include VAT, and add around £250 for delivery

Since i've got a platin grey wagon too, as much as I like the look of both I'd personally opt for the second set, but in silver (to match the rails). Tough choice though. The second reminds me a bit of the golf r talladega's or the rs6 wheels.

This is gonna sound a bit silly but i always try to imagine what they will look like when the car is moving too.

Thanks for all your feedback guys!
I really appreciate it. And thanks to Martin for posting the pics up properly too!

I am torn due to the colouring mainly, as I want them to complement rather than contrast the Platin Grey and silver roof rails...

and cbay..I agree re the look of them while driving too....
and yes...cleaning is also a consideration Antiplastix...
thanks for the other lead too gareth...

You have given me great things to think about!

    Thanks...

    Gotta love this forum hey!

I like the first set. The 2nd set are too fussy for my liking.

Any idea what they weigh? You'd be aiming for <10kg. OZ Racing doe the Allegerita at 8kg for $440ish but a kg heavier brings prices down under $300

Have you looked on tirerack? Freight is $380 for 4 wheels
