ahhh..I have to get the stupid brakes / abs problem fixed first this week by the dealer...then I am getting the springs installed and the new wheels...
I dont want to get the new wheels put on a day or two before some tech has to take them off again to work on the brakes etc...
More chance of them getting damaged.
and I dont want to put in the new lower springs before the workshop sees the car...then possibly uses those as an excuse not to fix the brakes / abs....

They've been on for something like 8,000km now... No dramas.
The local pot holes would throw a Landcruiser off balance too!

agreed, they're nothing special - my initial thinking was "SUV wheels for SUV ride height" was really interested in the aggressive offset without increasing the distance from the strut

I distinctly remember telling you the Q5's wouldn't look much chop!!

Anybody vaguely thinking of a big brake upgrade should consider the Audi NS4 wheels
They have heaps of spoke clearance and can take the 330mm big brakes without the need for a wheel spacer

These NS4 wheels look pretty good on the Octavia

The replica's are available on eBay all the time (that's what mine are)

that may just be an option for the future ideally i'd like to go 18 but at the moment i've got a set of 225/45/17 tyres waiting for me.
