    Thanks matey, I was going to ask about alignment / camber. I will post when it's been set up.

    I agree about the ECS Tuning wording, I think that's what they are trying to say, albeit unclearly (that the engine cover has FSI on it, as opposed to to TFSI).

    Bloody hell, these cars shift! The more I drive it, the more I love it!! ��

    They are great cars. I actually saw that yellow wagon when it was first advertised & was half tempted to go and have a look as I love the yellow & would like a wagon.

    It's interesting to get your feedback on how good a car you can get for <$10k.

    It's one reason why I am trying to think of a way to keep our current RS instead of our newer Santa Fe at the beginning of next year. It should be worth an awful lot more when we come to sell it and it's worth more to keep it than resell. Unfortunately, we need the space of the Santa Fe and the new Octavia gives us a bit more room to come as well, especially if we go a wagon this round.

    We also have a Kia Sorento (TDi), which is essentially the same as the Santa Fe as you know. To be honest, there's really not much more room in the Sorento than the Octy wagon. Bonus 3rd row seats can be useful occasionally..

    They are both great cars, but I'm more than happy with the yellow wagon right now.
    I got bored of the Subaru Outback which I've been driving up to now, hence the move to the Octy wagon.

    I was considering making a change for a long time. When I saw this one, I couldn't go past it.
    Thankfully, it's been a pretty good result for me so far.. Hopefully it will stay that way.
    Air filters and plugs on the way now. Oil/filter change done.

    i believe the difference is audi vs the rest of the VAG family.
    even with the CCZx EA888 engine, audi calls the engine "tfsi", while vw and skoda call it the "tsi".
    the difference is something to do with the "special" way audi "injects" the fuel.
    also audi's have variable valve lifts on both exhaust and intake valves, while the vw tsi only has variable action on the intake valves.

    the same thing occured with the BWx EA113 engines too. skoda and vw got to call it "t fsi", while audi had "tfsi".

    below is the CCZz EA888 that is used by audi

    re VCDS - I run it on an old notebook with Win7.
    Brad, looking at the ECS Tuning website, it seems that the 06F129101R is a revision of the 06F129101N.

    The reason I am considering this PCV valve is because they also offer the correct set of NGK plugs and diverter valve, all delivered for $300 AUD ($235 USD). Looking around online, I couldn't get those parts individually for that price.
    The same parts on eBay delivered price up at $70 plugs, $135 GFB DV+, $135 PCV valve = $ 340. I suppose for $40 extra, it's worth buying from eBay, getting the correct parts plus upgrading to the GFB DV+ diverter.

    Ok, I've convinced myself. Ha ha!
    Clearly, upgrading to the GFB DV+ for $40 more than the OEM replacement is worth it! Plus, I can be assured that the PCV valve is correct:

    So, I replaced the cabin and engine air filters today. Cabin filter - too easy. Engine filter - could they have made it any more difficult?!

    Wow! I had to find out (through Briskoda) how to do it. Went prepared, all went well. Done in 20 minutes.. ��

    On the plus side, it looks to me as if the PCV valve has been replaced already. Relatively clean, and mounting screws show signs of use. Maybe I should check the diverter valve before I order one..!
