Anyone know what the cost is to reset the bluefin to ready it for on-sale? And what it would sell for? I also had paid an extra $150 for stage 2 and onwards, does this mean the unit will always come with stage 2 in requested for the new buyer?

Best you send all your questions to Superchips. When I've dealt with them previously they were reasonably fast in replying.
I think the easisest way is to advertise it un-reset with a copy of the reset price email from Superchips. Then again, I've never seen anyone sell the St2 before.

Hey guys,
Keen to hear opinions on guys with the bluefin with DSG...
Im on stage 2 and obviously there is a lot more power, but after putting it back to stock tune last night (taken it into Skoda this morning to check on the DSG) I noticed that the tune may be causing a few issues for some reason. Here is what I notice:
Bluefin tune:
- Idle 50% of the time is a bit rough
- Shudders when I lift off the brake pedal (could be issue with clutch packs)
- Shudders just before I come to stop
- D mode shifting has a mind of its own. Under the same load/acceleration, sometimes it holds the gears when accelerating, and other times it shifts waaayyy to early...
Stock tune:
- Idle seems smoother
- Shudder is significantly less when lifting the brake pedal
- Only very light shudder just before coming to a stop
- D mode gear shifting is definitely smoother and changes how it should, making it much better to drive but obviously no where near the power of stage 2
If I drive in M mode then only thing I have to put up with is the shuddering which is still bad (why I have taken it into Skoda this morning)..
I am seriously thinking about getting a refund on the bluefin and changing tune...
Let me know your thoughts...
Daniel

I have no knowledge of the effect of a Bluefin on the DSG.
I think Bluefin do great, budget priced, stage 1 generic/mail-order self-loading tunes but beyond that the tune needs to be a bit more tailored - this applies to all the tuners IMO.
Interesting observations about the idle. I'll have to put mine back to stock & see if it makes any difference.

The ECU sends torque information to the transmission, so it knows how much pressure to put on the clutches.
After the stage 2, I get a slight delay when stomping on the fast pedal if its under 3k. I see the revs rise a little, but then it catches up.
that said, the car performed VERY well on the track last week. no issues, except I think I may need a heavier oil as temps were hitting mid 130s and I was worried it would be too thin at that temperature.
