Should either of these be covered under warranty? Even with a bluefin? I assume it would be hard for the Skoda Dealer to prove that a bluefin caused either of these failures (but I'm pretty sure they'll still try!!!)?

It will depend on the individual dealership mate - but luckily both items are cheap. The o2 sensor would be around $100 or so, and if you have a failed cat, you could have an exhaust shop remove the dump pipe and remove the obstruction.

Failed cat = good opportunity to fit SPM downpipe & 200 cell cat.

edit: Give APR or one of the tuners a call as they probably have old OEM DPs & cats hanging about or in the scrap bin.

I'm not that keen to modify the DP to be honest. And I would have thought these failed components would be covered under warranty with or without a bluefin.

Given that the warning light has gone out and assuming it came on due to one of the above failing, what would happen of I did nothing (ie don't replace anything)?

I think you're trying to 2nd guess yourself.

    Wait for the codes.

Took my car to JMac this morning and he read the fault code. Thinks it might be the EVAP Canister Valve throwing the fault code. He reset it and said if it comes on again, take it to the dealer under warranty.
