What oil are you using?
I get the rough idle with the Bluefin tune too (not enough to worry me), and mines a manual.

whatever the workshop put in. I guess its 5w-30. im thinking perhaps 5w-40 might be better for the track.
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels
If it was once a week I would be fine it - its a daily thing.. take off and its fine, next time a take off its spastic.... next time spastic, next time fine... Etc...
The shudder coming to a stop is definitely not from just the down change into 1st... Lets say im in manual mode and ive changed it down to 1st... the shudder happens even after that...

Put your car back to the stock tune, reset the Bluefin unit via discussion with Superchips in the UK (a special screen comes up on your computer to reset it) and then you sell the unit as a reset unit. The new owner then can get a stage 1 tune at no cost.
I sold my old Bluefin unit to zei20t (who has posted above, now using it on his Octavia) and that was the process i did to reset mine before selling it.
Generally you get around $500-550 for a reset unit. They sell for under $700 brand new these days, so you cant expect much more than $500-550 for a second hand unit.
Doesnt matter if you are stage 1,2 or 3 - once you reset the Bluefin you have lost what ever stage you were at. The buyer starts from stage 1 and will have to pay for stage 2 or 3 just like you did.
Yeah I think the price of the reset units are going down, I purchased mine last week for $225 pick up, could have just been lucky though!

^ very lucky - have never seen one that cheap before. I think about $400 (for a quick sale) is the cheapest ive seen.
Hey guys,
I'm John from Tigersoft Performance in Melbourne, and a Superchips dealer. If anyone has any problems or questions about Bluefin or the tune, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to answer.
1) I'm dealing with Superchips in the UK now to find a resolution to the problems that dportaz reported.
2) NOO63N you picked up a bargain, well done! When you buy a second hand Bluefin, you are paying for the tune, not the handset. Buying a new tune for $225 is awesome.
3) Superchips ANZ charge $150 to reset a Bluefin less than 1 year old, and $400 to reset a Bluefin older than 1 year old.
4) Lucas_R is correct, once the Bluefin is reset it is completely reset, and the new owner will start with Stage 1.
Anyway, if anyone needs any help, give me a yell!
Cheers
John
