Pre Christmas customs screening delays no doubt. I just took two weeks to get a small (cigarette packet size) parcel airmail from Singapore and I'm still waiting for a similar sized parcel that was sent from HK the same day.

In speaking with the Superchips/Bluefin seller for AUS/NZ, none of the cars here have been blocked - alhough the dealer car easily put a flash through and it'll stop the Bluefin tune from loading.

BTW you'll luv the Bluefin tune on your 125Kw TDI - the midrange punch is fantastic and it'll rev rite out to 5,000rpm now. Haven't seen a 10% drop in fuel consumption though, if anything it uses a fraction more fuel and I'm not driving like I stole it either.

    Cheers

Not sure which CAI other than the piping is all red and you need to remove all the engine covers. I'll ask him - it's off eBay I believe. Noise wise yes it's more noticable with more turbo whistle, popping noises and the blow off value can be heard now, but with the windows up and being driven normally you won't notice it if you weren't told.

I dont think the "OBD" port is being "blocked" literaly. The ECU s are becoming encrypted, MY 11 FSI models and earlier on some TDIs.

Is there a Part No. for the ECU's that are "blocked"??
I took delivery of my RS TDI in Sep 09, so not sure if I just scrapped in or not. Does anyone actually have specifics rather then rumours??

    I dont think the
TSI is being blocked, but the TDI def. When I asked about it they said TSI no probs, TDI, its a random chance

EDIT: I have a FY11 (or so the dealer says) Octavia. Not sure how it works with cars. Build date Jul10, complied Oct 10 - is that a FY11?

With the AUS/NZ Superchips/Bluefin dealer, he told me if I uploaded a file for the first time and it didn't work, I could return the unit in the post and get a full refund. Mine is a 03/2009 build and no issues with the 'blocking'

Well, it finaly arrived this morning. Took about 30 min. to install, there were some problems with the software which was fixed by uploading the latest version from the "bluefin" web site. Can definatly feel the extra urge. As others have said, 3 rd gear accelerates like 2 nd used too and there is a definate boost in torque at 2500-3000 rpm.
