Hmm.....well depending on what suburb I was in, I'd either get beaten up, or picked up

Noticed it was getting a bit furrier today, I don't wear anything that would really warrant this. Had a service this week and completely forgot to show them.....hmmmm I bet they consider it normal wear and tear, but none of my cars even at 8 yrs did something like this and its only 2 yrs old!

Not sure how bad yours is, by mine has become a bit furry as well. only had the car for a year, and wear business slacks 5 days of the week with jeans/shorts/trackies on the weekend

Just booked in for a 30k service and mentioned the furry mesh over the phone. Was told to point it out when i drop the car off.

will let you guys know how i go

Definitely will be watching closely as I wear business pants as well for 99% of the time, nothing catching etc, so really surprised. I found myself wondering whether I should get it retrimmed in that section with something else. The alacantra I actually quite like, but it might have to be leather or the vinyl stuff they use on the high wear bits. It probably wouldn't cost that much in the long run.

I've been wondering the same thing only because I think it would look great. I was thinking leather where the black cloth stuff is but I've just been too lazy to do anything about it.

I like the function of the black mesh, as it grips better than straight leather, and stops the sliding, the alacantra works well too and both avoid the sliding and hot seat issues with straight leather. But the furry worries me in a car this young.

I can say that I don't slip my factory leather seats because they are contoured to perfection. In fact I have to take the wallet out of my back pocket because it digs in and is uncomfortable. I suppose having a fat arse gives me more grip but I like to think it is the contouring......

    haha +1

I like the leather, but that one is definitely personal choice. I know people that asolutely despise leather and they'll put up a good argument against it. Who would have thought it'd be so polarising

I assume that you know that men sitting on their wallet during their life is the major cause of males needing hip replacements.
