When you have this amazeballs setup installed, mind if I see if my 18x7.5 rims will fit around it??
If so, I'll join you with this kit.

Just need to find something to upgrade the back with...
2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.
    1990 Mk1 Cabrio. 1.9 IDI w/ 18PSI.
    1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.
    Not including hers...

Yes, no worries at all, it's all about spoke clearance
These are the black wheels currently on your Octavia?

Given cost versus benefit, I would say keep it simple and much cheaper
I'm going to put some Ferodo DS2500 pads in the rear and see how that goes
If needed the next upgrade step after that is to install R32 rear brakes
Due to the handbrake, your options are few and far between

One guy in the USA made a dual caliper hub for the rear
He uses a big fancy caliper for braking while driving and tiny caliper on the other side for the handbrake
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels

    Yup!!

I was thinking just put the old Octy front disk/calipers on the rear... But I didn't realise about the handbrake!! :/

What is your OEM brake wear like?... I know my pads (upon dealer inspection) have 10mm left!!!... That was at the 60,000km service...
R32 rear brakes are blue, aren't they?... Need caliper paint!

No idea at all - my car only has 19k on it

The ceramic street pads for the HPA brakes are $129 for the set
You can get DS2500 pads for them ~$220

Indeed - hammerite to the rescue - you can also get VRS brake stickers off eBay

ECS want $790 + Shipping for the R32 Rear Brakes
(Avoid the drilled rotor disc, slotted is good however)

It's ever so common for cracks to start from the drill holes...
