    Australian aftermarket parts?

Does anyone know of Australian distributors for Skoda aftermarket accessories, similar to Superskoda and the likes?

Freight costs for larger bulkier items are exorbitant to us down-under, for things like underbonnet protection (THIS is what I'm really chasing) and fragile plastic bumper guards, etc, etc.

Has anyone bothered to stock Skoda items here, or does everything have to come from overseas?

Apart from common parts with VW, I know of pretty much noone here as the market is too small apart from the guy in NZ.

    Thanks woofy.

Who's the NZ guy? Do you have a link at all?
I'd really like the under-bonnet insulation/protection but not sure if it's worth doing, considering the freight from Europe - but freight from NZ may be more realistic.

I got a quote for RS230 wheels, (which would have been RS220 Wheels) at $660 each so $2640 for 4.
Superskoda will do them for $1800ish + shipping (at 41kg) which would be less that $800???,which in turn still cheaper than Dealer and its the right wheel (Black with Black)

I'll let you know when I do a big shop Spinifex, will be in the new year (Feb/Mar/ when they have a discount sale) if you can wait that long.

    +1 for NZ contact

Yeh I saw that today...... $102 delivered to my door!

Does anyone think it's worth spending the money on?
There's not a lot of info on the site, if this includes clips or some form of mounting structure.... so I'm not even sure how it attaches to the bonnet.

Does anyone have any further info? I can't find anything on how to mount it....

Just ordered the bonnet insulator from NZ. I emailed the guy first and he confirmed it comes with all necessary clips, so seems to be plug and play. Fingers crossed.

And the reason I got it is because some bird poo was left long enough on the bonnet to stain the paint. I figure that the heat of the bonnet makes it even more susceptible to the poo messing the paintwork.
