APR stage 1 on Ovtavia RS

    Hi Guys,
Just wondering if any of you guys have done the APR stage 1 on your vRS?
Would love to know how the car drives with it compared to stock.

    Cheers
    Andy

    Nope
Bluefin on a 1.8tsi. Best performance mod ever.

I won't go into the value equation of a ~$667 (cheaper now with strong dollar) remap compared to whatever APR charges. ALl I'll say is a basic remap is worth every penny.

I'm intending on doing about 5000K's on mine, then drop oil + filter and get a Superchips tune on it. While it goes OK now, i'd like it just that bit perkier (Came from a 6L V8 calais which was noticably quicker)

Did it about 6 months ago. Absolutely fantastic - better go, and better fuel economy. Driveability is better, the power comes on sooner and the hesitation on take-off is almost completely gone. Makes the traction control come on more often though

Go for it! I think any of the ECU upgrade packages would be worth it.

Congratulations on the purchase; I love the styling of the Skodas - they've got a very late 90's audi look about them which I like (but I'm biased!).
