Hi guys
i have 2011 tdi. I have a problem with my air vent from fist day, i bought brand new. Problem is that air is always comes from air vents while car is moving. I also tell this problem to dealer they says it is in every skoda. Can anybody confirm me this because i don't believe them.

I've noticed that when I have the air on pointing to feet only, air will come out of the outer top vents.
I reckon its brilliant, because I have the drivers one pointing up to cool my tablet.
I'd say its a Skoda thing.
Sorry I can't say any more - I always have the air on!!

Do you mean if the fan is off and the climate control has the air directed to feet or screen only?
Most cars will allow fresh air through the face vents even if the fan and climate control are off. That's why each vent has the ability to be shut off individually.
Most euro cars I have had will allow a trickle of air to the face vents even if you have it set to feet.
Most of the cars I've driven lately (subaru, corolla, skoda, hilux), you have to physically close each individual vent to stop the air.
I just point them all away from me so that the cabin air remains fresh but my eye's don't dry out.

personally I have the air-con on all the time ... but I'm pretty sure that if you put the air-con on and then press the internal-only / re-circulate button or whatever it's called, then turn the air-con off, there will be no incoming air .. at least until the car is restarted.

I noticed with all the VW group HVAC units, that whatever the settings were BEFORE turning off the aircon and fan, then some small amount of air will still come in from there.
So if you have it set to the feet only while the aircon is on, and set at a warm 26 degress, then turn off the unit completely, then warm air will still flow to the feet.
But if you have it set to a cold 16 degrees and adjust to the face, then turn it off, a small amount of cold air will still come through to the face.
So set it where you want before tuning of the aircon.
That being said, I run with the aircon on at all times. Only the temp varies....

It took me a while to wake up to the fact that there are two lights/settings on the recirculate button. The constant air in the face used to bug me as well. Thing is, it was my own fault. I was using the Climatronic system the same as I would every other A/C I've ever had. In the manual there's a chart showing the most effective settings for the levels of comfort/cooling desired. What would Czech's know about summer conditions? Don't kid yourself. European summers are short, but they're bloody hot. Since setting it up as per these recommendations I haven't had cause to touch the controls. One of the recommendations for optimum cooling is to angle the dash vents upwards. That's where they mostly stay now. I just drove from Melbourne to Sydney in perfect comfort without touching the Climatronic. The outside air temp in parts of north east Victoria was showing 44.5C.
On days when it's 30C+ and I've been parked in the sun I'll direct the dash vents to my face and body until comfortable then angle them up again. It just makes sense. Ever sat in a pub or club under an A/C vent that that's blowing directly onto you? I generally move when that's the case, so why would I have my car vents blowing directly onto me all day? It's definitely a case of "Read the manual".
I think this just happens with most cars doesn't it? My old Corolla, Commodore, and my gf's Lancer all do that. you have to shut the air vents to stop it. It's not a problem
