Also had this rectified under warranty on my 2.0TSI Tiggy. From memory, (oh dear!) an $80 part (titanium) & 5 minute job to fix. I also 1st noticed mine rattling going through an underpass where the sound was able to bounce off a nearby wall & through my open window.
The most painful part was having to go to the dealer twice, 1st time to diagnose, 2nd time to fit...

You might want to try a different dealer. In this post someone got the clip under warranty from Trivett Blacktown.

Well I spoke to Skoda, and they made an appointment for me at Trivett in Alexandria. Sadly enough I have to wait until 20/09

So fingers crossed they can find the issue as Skoda (I just got of the phone to them) don't do anything in regards to warranty, and they claim that this is part of the car/engine.

This will be my 2nd opinion in regards to this.

Has any of you noticed any powerloss because of this issue??
