7DSG recall - anyone been fixed yet?

Has anyone affected by the recall had the work done yet? I visited my dealer in July about another issue (clutch plates; will be replaced under warranty too) and was told that they'll do those at the same time as the mechatronic; still waiting for the call. I realise there are ~30,000 VAG cars to be done so it's likely to take a while; just wondering where we are on the list.

my brother had the mechatronic done last week (recall) on his polo, and his car has lost power twice after it was done and b4 he got the mech..done 3 or 4 times ......its going back tomorrow to vw and check again, but im guessing any works done will be at a charge..his car has come out of warranty few months ago .............

there would be warranty on any work they do and on the parts they replace.

plus, I think with any DSG problems with recalled units would be fixed without charge

I rang Skoda Assist yesterday about the Yeti, apparently they re doing recall mailouts in batches. Should arrive soon.

It applies to those manufactured between November 2008 and August 2011 - you're probably not affected but check your build date (though you would have been contacted by Skoda already if they have your details).

my wifes car has been done, mine goes in on 1st october, both FL Octy. Wife's car is heaps better, it had clutches done as well. Skoda warranty all part replaced with a further 2 year unlimited km warranty
