5 year unlimited km warranty on all new Skodas

Just got an email from Zagames. I assume that it's a promotion from Skoda Australia rather than just the dealer.

Does this only apply to new cars in dealer stock and not new ones on order?

The free on roads is only on dealer demos.

The offer ends on 29 Feb but there is no indication of whether it's floor stock only or also includes cars that have been ordered and are due for delivery during the period.

You see, that's how they hook you in and then get you to end up paying more. That's unless you wear them out in negotiations before they tire you out and confuse the hell outta you. LOL.

I notice that some of the Skodas I have been keeping an eye on on Carsales have mysteriously gone up in price after the launch of this offer. Must be purely coincidental. Greedy barstewards!!

Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t!!!! I just took delivery of my Superb last Friday and I might have just missed out the extended warranty! Will call the dealer and see if I can still be eligible!

No, no, no! Read it carefully! It's not free on roads. Only CTP, stamp duty and rego, which are the cheaper part of the ORC. The major part is dealer's delivery which is $2-3000. So on a demo, that's not that good deal, especially when VW was really offering free on roads on all Golfs last year. If VW can do it, why can't Skoda?

Contacted dealer. The 5 year warranty only applies to new cars purchased now, not those waiting for delivery, as their new car factory bonuses have reduced by $2000. This might've explain the reason for prices in carsales.com to have raise the price
