What colour is your 118?
Also - What do the old wheels look like?
I may be in the market for something smaller than the 18's... Tyres cost too much.
Hi all,
Hope everyone has a great Christmas break.
I have a 118 tsi wagon I have recently purchased.... And today both my Xmas presents arrived
I've just taken delivery if some KW V3 "ultra low" coilovers (thanks TPR engineering) and also today my rotiform BLQ's arrived (19x8.5 et45)
What tyre size is everyone on 19" running? 215 or 225/35r19? And have you rolled the guards or had rubbing issues?
This thing will be seriously low.... And I want as little stretch as possible so I'd like to hear what you are all running?

19s wouldn't ride that much worse IMO. You're not going all that much lower in profile, but if you get the suspension setup right, you may never notice. just do it properly and youll be fine.
offset is generally the offending reason for scraping.
Ride is a personal opinion.... I'm not into OEM look or wheels..... No offence to anyone, but powder coated OEM wheels Dont do it for me. I've never had a standard car, Iast car was a falcon TS50 with 22" wheels so modified cars are in my blood. And I'm happy to sacrifice a little ride quality for the look I want. It shouldn't be too bad rude in concidering I spent a lot of time researching the right suspension to get it slammed and have a reasonable ride. All I'm worried about us scrubbing!
TS50!! Man, I race those on Need For Speed! XD
Although, 22's are a little much?...
Could you theoretically put 20's on the Octy?
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and they have the right to do whatever they want to their vehicle! I know some people hate what I've done to mine - but its all in the name of long distance driving.

As far as I'm concerned - do whatever you want to your Skoda... Just turn up to meets and be in photos.
Have you had a look at the Superskoda and/or Milotek websites yet? I'm currently drooling over LED tail lights.

Yeah I ordered the sports badgeless grill and delete badge for the rear!
I like the led tail lights but want to see them on a car first.
Wouldn't mind putting the scout kit on it maybe? Something different
