    12v Outlet - 2010 Octavia vRS

I'm without my car today so can't check. Tried searching with no luck. Does anyone know if there is a 12v outlet in the rear of a 2010 Octavia vRS wagon or is it just the one in front of the centre console?

wagon should have a 12v in the luggage area. hatch doesn't.

wagon rear outlet can be switched on/off with the lockout switch for the rear power windows

I know front socket stays active always too. I left a phone charger in while at the airport, and came back two days later to a flat battery. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I thought cig lighters were switched off with the aux/ignition.

That's pretty common among the Euro manufacturers.

I thought my 12v socket turned off after 30 minutes (I'm still convinced that's how it worked for the first 3-4 years). When it stopped doing this (stayed on permanently) and I asked at a few forums others had never heard of it working that way. Maybe I was wrong...

I have a GPS & a dashcam and got tired of unplugging at the end of a journey so i put a 2 socket 12v outlet into the cubby hole on the LHS of the steering wheel.

I wired it into a switched power supply on the fuse box. Works great.
