    103/125TDI vs Amarok (400 Bi-TDI)

So, I was looking around at Amarok's, because its 2:30am and why not look at car specs.

The Amarok's 2ltr 120kW/400Nm twin-turbo engine is the exact same size as the 2ltr Octy engine... So, my question is... Whats the difference?!

Octy is 1,968cc, single-turbo, in either 103kW/300Nm or 125kW/350Nm. The latter has something uprated. I think its the crankshaft.
Amarok is twin-turbo, same size. Lower kW but higher Nm, but that'd be due to its intended purpose.

Could I, in theory, grab the 2nd turbo from the Amarok, and put it in the Octy? Together with a performance tune, it would be pretty intense, I reckon.

Why not just get a performance tune and lose some weight from the car to net a better and cheaper performance?

The only things worth doing to an RS is a BlueFin (or other brand) flash and air filter mods. Any more than that and your really chucking money down a drain chasing diminishing HP increases for lots of money. If you really want to experience faster than that you'd be better off getting a motorbike.

Besides I don't think it's as simple as bolting bits on to these cars - again - would the car even know what to do with what you've added? Like adding the 4x4 stuff, the cars brains might have a hissy fit.

My first car had 58Kw (Mark 1 Ford Cortina GT) and was plenty fast enough for me then. I hate to think of every 19 year old having an RS (how do they even afford them?). We grown ups wouldn't be safe on the roads.
