Was just reading a mini article about this is the latest Motor mag... Looks fantastic & is technically a GTI (Mk5) but with a lower price tag - In the UK at least... Hopefully it'll be the same in Oz when it goes on sale next year.

it'll be big inside, very comfy, etc etc.... but unless it's a cabriolet, i dont really see the point of getting this over a gti, all things being equal...

Yeah I'm kind of the same, although I can almost guarantee there'll be more GTI's on the road

yeah true...

i guess if you're the kind of person whose driving consists of 95% driver only, 4% one passenger, 1% more than two in the car, then it'd be a nice departure from the gillions of GTI's out there...
