Can't wait to see an APR-ed version! Interior is a big leap the previous one.

Looks like it won't have independent rear suspention as it is based on the simpler USA jetta. Maybe that's why they do not mention suspention in the press release. No adaptive dampers probably either.

Will probably have the solid axle in the states as per the Jetta but there's no way they'll get away with that in Europe - as per the Jetta.

ended up looking better than i thought it would. still, older new beetle shape is better
inside is looking a lot more in line with the rest of the vw range. i like the gauge setup with the 3 pods on top of the dash and the lap timer is a great idea.
will there be an awd one i wonder?
