Got a Brake Booster from a Seat Ibiza today, luckily it fits, really tight though. Also got the Master cylinder from it. Im not sure if I should reuse my original Master cylinder or the one I picked up. Since my original also fits the brake booster and has got 5 holes for the 4 brake lines and the brake light. But the Seat MC only has 2 holes and I haven't got any T sections as well.

Would the performance suffer as a result of using my old MC??

Got two sets of scirocco rear proportioning valves from the US thanks to the people on vwvortex, yes they are 3-15 and no they are not cheap. Ordered some front brake pads from the UK since they were closing down and selling at 10%RRP (15AUD shipped to me). Unfortunately rear drums just dont have the sex appeal rear disk brakes do. So now just gotta hunt down a rear brake setup from a mk3 golf.

Progress has been slow but hopefully will be constant. Will probably post within just over another month or so of the finished brake setup since im pretty busy at the moment.

update on the rust, front section of my floor pan is not looking too good nothing major but needs some metal work done, Im not a welder so was planning on pop riveting sections of sheet metal from the bottom and top and going over with the 10 litre can of tar I found at home. Obviously treating the rust and primering it before tarring.

    Hopefully get some pics tomorrow.

Plumbed up the front section over the weekend since I was bored. Here's some pics of the pipes I made and the scirocco rear proportioning valves.

Heres the weld of the push rod for the brake booster.
