5 Speed Gearbox Transaxle Mk2

Hi All,
I'm considering a 5 speed conversion to my 77 Passat.
I understand that a Mk2 gearbox transaxle will go in without great difficulty, but that getting hold of one is tricky... hens teeth.
Does anyone either have one that they're willing to part with, or any hots tips on the best place to find one?

There's a bloke on Facebook recently put a B1/B2 5 speed up for sale in country Victoria. I'll try to find out more for you.

I don't think a tranverse gearbox will fit in a Passat but A4 manual gearboxes from a front drive 4 cylinder will with a bit of modification.(boxster gearbox are the same,early 2.5 ones are good).
