Would these fit a GTI?

They're 15" - would they clear the front brakes (280mm) of a GTI?

The Bora had 280mm rotors, but I thought the GTI had 288mm...

Doesn't matter both brake kits were from the mk3 which the VR had both on 15s so yes they will fit.

Along with take pictures of the tread tonight ill take a inside measurement if you like?

Good point, though I know of some 17" wheels that fit on a VR6 that didn't fit on a Bora due to caliper clearances (they weren't OEM wheels though, whereas those ones are and would probably be OK).
