Would I regret selling my car for a vr6

Hey fellas, I'm tossing up wether to sell my gti and move to a bora vr6.
I've been searching and working out pros and cons but I wouldn't mind some opinions especially if someone's done the same thing in the past?

1.8t vs vr6 always comes to mind but what about other things like handling, creature comforts fuel economy ect.?
    Any input would be great!

If you want 4wd look at S3s. Lots more power and better economy. You can have a go of mine if you want to. V6 sounds well but that's not the be all.

    I agree with Gav.
The 8L model S3's are nicely priced now and go hard from what i have seen at happy laps.

Ask any of the Bora lads when they last did 8 per 100 and 700 ks on a tank, with 250+hp on tap.

I will say it again though, the V6 sounds well.

I own (and love/adore) my Bora VR6 - i even had to buy a vr6 head gasket keyring. So trust me when i say the 8L S3 is a better car in prob all aspects other than looks (subjective) and the sound (don't care what you do to the pipes on a 4cyl turbo, it will never sound as horn as a VR6).

8L s3 = they DO go hard as hell too, even with a mild stage 1/2 it will fly.

Thanks for the input guys. I do love the sound of the vr6 but an s3 has been on my list too. I'll keep a lookout for one I think. Or BT the golf in the future

Driving to work on the highway is mainly responsible. Doing 80ks a day, 6 on 3 off. Going through traffic doesn't make it appreciably worse, like going over 110 does.

I am seeing a chiro about my short leg though

    For easy tuning potential S3.

For more 'involved' tuning potential + sound. Bora V6.

    Tough choice!
