Where do you Jack up a Golf?

    Hi,

At the weekend I tried to jack up my Golf with my trusty Trolley Jack but was a bit confused as to where exactly to lift from. I ended up jacking up one side at a time using the front suspension mounting area but this proved to be time consuming and not too mention not good for nerves as the car went up awkwardly.

How does everyone do it, or don't you?

Have a look at where your jack that comes with the car goes usually on the side towards the front and rear usually where the side mirror is under the car. I used the trolley jack on my mk3 last week on those points and they seemed fine.
