you might be able to find an aftermarket R32 kit locally, mine was imported though & fitted by previous owner, i'm pretty sure it was around $2.5k by the time it arrived (import / GST etc).... otherwise you could find out about the R-Line kit from VW; i don't know if this is available still or if it was a limited factory run but I've seen a few pics of GTIs with the genuine kit.

Their pricing is somewhat OTT, Gareth. You can pick up the centre armrest console they offer for the 9N Polo for less than 20 UK Pounds sterling and get it shipped to Aus. for WAYYYYY less than the $345 this crowd want for them here. Alloy pedal sets (Zender & Raid) are another example ... can get these massively cheaper at Awesome GTI in the UK and get them shipped out for way less than the $248 / $205 quoted on this site.

LOL Dave, absolutely no doubt - australian customers seem to have large $ symbols tattooed on our foreheads.

i'm an avid internet shopper and saved myself a fortune in snowboarding gear etc.

I wonder with bodykits though, would the freight costs make aussie prices seem a little more tolerable?

You'd have to get the skirts at imported least as I don't think that the three door skirts would be a straight swap onto the five door.
I'd say you could get VW parts to order everything in as long as you had part numbers. I don't see why they couldn't bring in any VW part as their system should contain all VW parts. If they can't they should be able to get front and rear bumper anyway.

Yeah good point on the side skirts...mine had to be modified before fitting as the rear doors would have been blocked from opening. The three door skirts rise up past the front door so they were cut to be the same level all the way through.
